The case study
Behind the project
A group Computer Networking project in which we designed and implemented a hybrid WAN for a regional bank. The topology connects a Head Office, a Disaster Recovery site, and four branches using seven Cisco routers. We divided the 192.168.0.0/22 address block into 22 VLSM subnets, used OSPF for core routing and static routes for branches, and added a backup link between the Head Office and DR site. Staff and ATM devices were placed on separate subnets. We built and tested the network in Cisco Packet Tracer using routing-table checks and ping tests.
